| Originally from Elkton, MD, Thomas Jay has always been a city boy at heart. He received his bachelor of fine arts from Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in Baltimore, MD and a masters degree in illustration from School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York, NY. During his studies, Thomas created work in Ireland, the south of France, and Argentina. His work is influenced by fine artists such as Carroll Dunham as well as numerous graphic designers like Stephan Sagmeister. Thomas works and plays in New York City. |
